A Study On TV Communication Of The Central Plains Dietary Culture

Henan Province is a place with beautiful scenery and abundant products.The heritage of history and culture gave birth to the Central Plains Dietary Culture with rich connotation. As an important part of the Central Plains Culture, the Central Dietary Culture contains the spirit of Central Plains traditional culture in aspects of eating habits, diet customs and features of cuisines. The Central Plains dietary occupies an important position of Chinese food culture in the history. It germinated in Xia and Shang Dynasty about four thousand years ago, and has matured in the Northern Song Dynasty. With the migration of the country’s political center, economic center and cultural center, after the Northern Song Dynasty, the Central Plains Dietary Culture had spread to all over the country and had been absorbed by other areas. Pan-Chinese dietary established the foundation for the eight major cuisines and even ten major cuisines in China.As the "first media" in China, TV media has the advantage of diet information dissemination, especially in aspect of spreading Chinese dietary culture, which can not be compared with other form of media.With more than three decades development, especially with the popularity of a Bite of China, the large number of Chinese food TV programs pay more attention to the humanistic connotation, which receive increasing emphasis with prominent cultural attributes.The Central Plains Dietary with profound and rich culture can provide a solid support for Chinese TV programs. This paper, from the perspective of Communication, based on the Central Plains Culture to observe the TV communication of dietary culture. And the food TV programs are considered as the research object in order to search suggestions and enlightenments for development of the TV communication of the Central Plains Dietary Culture.This paper reviews the development the Central Plains Dietary Culture from the Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasty, and combined with the regional cultural of Henan to summarizes the characteristics of dietary culture in Henan Province. Due to the fragmentation of TV communication of the Central Plains Dietary Culture, this paper takes Xiangxiang Delicacy and the Beauty of Henan for example to analysis development status of Chinese television programs, and sum up traits of the Central Plains Dietary Culture in TV communication from aspects of cuisines, cooking methods and dietetic concept. Meanwhile, indicating problems in aspects of originality of program form,construction of Henan diet image and dietary value advocate. On the basis of the previous argument, whereafter, this paper puts forward the strategies of the TV communication of the Central Plains Dietary Culture, and these strategies are expected to be used in practice, checking whether they are effective.
