Aquaculture water quality directly affects the healthy growth of aquatic products. The real-time monitoring of water quality in the breeding process contributes to the smooth conduct of aquaculture activities. There is issue for strong subjectivity, long time-consuming and measurement single parameters in the traditional method of monitoring. By means of wireless sensor networks and data fusion technology can achieve real-time monitoring of water quality.On the background of aquaculture monitoring, the thesis researches into data fusion for wireless sensor network.(1) For the large amount of data transmission and fast energy consumption, the paper proposes a method of energy-balanced data fusion. Sensors in target area are divided into several clusters by clustering protocol of data aggregation, and what as the standard of cluster head to replace is its residual energy and the round of algorithm executed. And the cluster head node conducts self-adaptive weighted fusion to data in the own cluster, which can balance the energy of each node and reduce the amount of data transmission.(2) For the traditional method of water quality monitoring cannot provides real-time and accurate information to user. the paper proposes that to build wireless sensor networks in the water of aquaculture, which uses smart sensors to collect information on water quality parameters. And the method of energy-balanced data fusion is applied to the acquisition process.Wireless sensor networks collects data every half hour, which guarantees the timeliness of data.It improves the accuracy of data is collected data which has been weighted fusion.(3) Using the platform of MATLAB to conduct simulation for PH value, water temperature and amount of dissolved oxygen. The result shows that fusion algorithm for water quality can effectively comprehensive collected data, and obtain more accurate parameter estimates.
