Water is the most important factor for aquaculture, which is directly related to the quality of aquatic products.China's aquacultural area and output also lead the world. In recent years, aquaculture is changing from small-scale to large-scale and integration. Now the traditional aquaculture still uses manual management, which has many disadvantages, such as low efficiency, long monitoring period and so on.Therefore,it is urgent to put forward a new method to meet new requirements. At present, common methods include wireless and wire.Taking wire method brings many defects, such as huge cost, maintaining the equipments difficultly in coastal areas. However, using wireless can avoid these weakness. The water quality monitoring system use microprocessor STC15 as the main controller, which communicates CC1101 through SPI.CC1101 establish a wireless sensor network, which work at 433MHz and have longer distance for transmission. The microprocessor receives sensor data through RS-485 and communicates with the host computer through the RS232 serial port.PC platform displays and storages data by using C#,database,ADO.NET and other technologies. In addition, the system also design structural protection for the test environment to ensure system's security and stability. The field-testing results show that average packet loss rate of the system is 0.12%,the mean errors of pH,conductivity and dissolved oxygen sensors are 0.53%,1.27%and 0.48%respectively.System shows real-time response to changes of water quality. The system has good accuracy and repeatability, and can satisfy the application requirements of aquaculture monitoring.
