In this paper, an aquaculture water quality monitoring and control system based on wireless sensor network was proposed under the background of anaquaculture facilities culture network monitoring system construction project in a fishery industrial park in Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Provincial.Thecore sensing technologies for establishing a remote fisheries aquaculture water quality monitoring system were researched in this paper. The main works indudedin this paper are as follows:After the analysis of the requirements and technical limitations of existing aquaculture water quality monitoring and control system, the overall scheme of the monitoring and control system absed on wireless sensor network (WSN) technology was introduced in detail. The system perception layer architecture was also decribed as well as the functional and technical indicators requirements.According to the application environment of water quality monitoring system,the key hardware parts of WSN acquisition nodes, wireless gateway nodes, base stations and wireless control nodeswere improved.and the program of data collection in WSN acquisition node system of sensing layer was written based on TinyOS component and event driven mechanism. At the same time, the transmission processing program of WSN acquisition nodes, wireless communication module, wireless gateway nodes, base stations and wireless control nodes and the control feedback programs of wireless control nodes were also desigend.After analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of WSN routing protocols, a routing protocol based on improved SAR-AODV of hierarchical network topology and multi path transmission mechanism was design for the ad hoc network of the system.At last,the hardware and software WSN acquisition nodes, wireless gateway nodes, base stations and wireless control nodes was tested. After that, system test under the actual application environment was constructed. The feasibility and reliability of the whole system were ensured.In this paper, an aquaculture water quality monitoring and control system using the appropriate theory, technology and method was designed. The data acquisition, processing, communication and networking problems were effectively solved.It can be widely used in large-scale aquaculture of different konds of fish and shrimps.
