In recent years, recirculating aquaculture developes rapidly with the advantages of high efficiency water saving, almost no pollution etc. But this way also exists problems such as: water environment ecological imbalance caused by man-made interference,metabolites of aquatic products increased etc, making the water quality deterioration, and resulting in slow growth of aquatic products, and even death. Therefore, it is imperative to monitor the water quality parameters in recirculating aquaculture. With the increasing development of WSN technology, the water quality detection methods have been changed from the stage of artificial sampling analysis to the stage of automatic remote monitoring.Generally, the p H electrode and dissolved oxygen electrode are widely used to detect water quality in aquaculture. However, the electrode is easily polluted, and the detection is not stable in this method. In addition, there is also a problem which is that the reliability of data transmission is low due to the complexity of environment. For the above problems,this paper developed a kind of water quality monitoring system which is suitable for recirculating aquaculture.Based on the analysis of the existing water quality parameters monitoring technology,the multi-parameter circuit monitoring system in recirculating aquaculture based on WSN is developed. The main contributions of this paper are as follows:(1) The sensor automatic cleaning device is designed to solve the easily-polluted problem existing in electrode. The sensor can be periodically cleaned, the method is anti-polluted and stable.(2) On the basis of realizing Si4432 data transmission, the node communication scheme is designed, the data retransmission and custom data format are used to reduce the code error.(3)Multi-parameter circuit monitoring system nodes are designed, and they are divided into sensor nodes and terminal nodes according to the functionality. The hardware circuit mainly includes the MCU control circuit, multiple parameter acquisition module, wireless communication module, cleaning module, USB communication module, etc. Software design mainly includes: the main control system, multi-parameter acquisition and sensorautomatic cleaning, etc.(4) The PC monitoring software of feature-rich is designed to display the parameters real-time, storage data, diagnose the faults and alarm etc, it is easy for users to analysis and process timely.(5) The experimental platform is established and related tests are done to verify the practicability and reliability of monitoring system.The results indicate that the system can automatic collecte data and the detection error is low; the anti-pollution performance is drastically improved with the sensor cleaning unit,which can enhance the stability of system dramatically. With the design of the node communication scheme, customized data packet and data retransmission, the reliable transmission of the data has been achieved and attained the expected effect.
