With the development of modern science and technology means such as Internet, information become increasingly important in all areas of society and influential factors. In a knowledge-based, information-carrier of information learning society, information literacy has become one of the qualities essential to adapt to society. Especially for medical students this special and important group, the level of information quality can not meet the needs of the society; there are still many difficulties and problems in the process of information quality education in schools, it need to further address and improve.The first part includes the first, second chapter of the article, briefly expounds the research background, significance, research status of domestic and foreign medical students’ information literacy, the connotation of information literacy of evolution, the connotation of information literacy, information literacy evaluation standards for a more in-depth analysis, and sums up the enlightenment of strengthening medical students’ information quality, as the theoretical basis of this study.The second part is the third four, five chapter, the article through the questionnaire survey, interviews with teachers, understanding the status of medical students information literacy, the survey results show:(1) Medical students have stronger demand for information, the purpose is relatively clear; medical students get the initiative of certain information, but the access to information is relatively simple, the other ways of utilization degree are lower; students lack of understanding of information quality. (2) Medical students from different grades of professional information technology are different; medical students ability to obtain information are in general, can not accurately obtain effective information; most medical students do not have good capability of information evaluation; there were significant differences in information application ability of medical students between the different grades. (3) Medical students do not pay attention to relevant laws and regulations with the information technology, lack of the maintenance awareness of others and their works and copyright. The fifth chapter through the comparison with the other students’information quality drawn:medical students’ information quality level is higher than the general college students’, but still can not adapt to the needs of the development of society, both have the overall improvement and progress.The third part is the sixth chapter of the article, based on the survey findings, we analyze the main problems of the Information Literacy and Information Literacy Education School, proposed creating campus environment, and create a good atmosphere for the quality of information, to strengthen the construction of the library, play the advantages of libraries, teaching reform, promote the balanced development of medical students’ information quality, improve information quality of teachers and ensure that all suggestions for effective implementation of the information Literacy Education, reinforcement of self Information Literacy levels to promote the comprehensive development of the individual.The fourth part is the Chapter VII of the article, mainly summarizing the research of this study, pointing out the deficiencies and the direction of future efforts.
