Under the influence of the national’Internet strategy", traditional industries began to upgrade. In the’Internet plus logistics’industry, traditional freight market is also facing a huge impact, as well as freight forwarders. Especially in recent years, several information service platforms and APP have been created in the market of urban freight, which in a certain extent filled the information gap between supply and demand of goods and vehicles, increased the efficiency of cargo storage, and so on. However, the competition in market of urban freight industry is relatively intense, which is still in the early stage. To carry out an in-depth research on the field of business process, has a relative high market value and great realistic meaning.Therefore, this study has been carrying out from the view of process re-engineering. Using business process re-engineering theory, combined with the characteristics of Internet, urban freight business process has been analyzed and optimized under the environment of Internet, to realize collaborative development from online to offline in the market of urban freight. Main contents are as follows:(1) This paper summarizes the concept and characteristics of urban freight, and made a clear definition of urban freight process and its re-engineering process, described the status and existing problems of traditional urban freight, analyzed the impact of mobile Internet on urban freight. Then emphasizes the significance of business process re-engineering of urban freight under the environment of mobile Internet.(2) On the basis of the analysis of the traditional urban freight business process, making use of Petri net to model its business process, and analyzes its shortcomings. Combined with the technical background of Internet and the analysis of the demand of urban freight suppliers and demanders, using business process re-engineering (BPR) theory to design the overall framework and relative details of the traditional urban freight business process, and then makes the modeling analysis of its key business process using Petri net.(3)Take the example of intelligent matching cargo freight products, using Arena simulation software to analyze its freight business process before and after business process re-engineering, making the analysis of cycle time and resource utilization of cargoes to prove the rationality of the research.
