Research On Business Process Decomposition Tool Based On Petri Net

With the progress of the society,the processes of all walks of life are increasingly normalized.From non-profit institutions such as universities,taxation bureaus,and business administration departments to profit-making organizations such as catering and equipment manufacturing,they all follow the principle of "handling according to procedures".The information age provides the possibility for the analysis and optimization of process to run automatically.Process management and information technology have been combined,and then the field of study named business process management(BPM)comes into being."Big data" age includes huge data information,on the one hand,it provides abundant data for the process management,on the other hand,it has also brought many difficulties for process analysis and its formal modeling.Process decomposition can reduce the difficulty of process analysis and modeling,and improve the quality of business process management by decomposing a complete business process into some independent sub-processes.In this paper,we mainly focus on the business process decomposition tool based on Petri net.First,this paper introduces the research background and research status of process decomposition.Second,we learn the basic theory of business process and Petri net systematically,and understand the existing decomposition method deeply.Third,on the basis of the existing process decomposition algorithm,this paper proposes a decomposition method of business process based on Petri net,which has two main advantages: ? The unified decomposition of event log and process model;?By building the sub-process transition collection,it can solve the problem of "inner loop structure",and can guarantee the relative independence among the sub-process.The correctness of the algorithm is verified by an instance of the qualification verification process of the postgraduates in universities.Finally,we develop a business process decomposition tool with the Java language,and the effectiveness of the tool is tested with an instance.
