With the rapid development of social economy, competition of enterprises has shifted from competition between enterprises to supply chains. The tobacco industry in our country reforms deeply, and is faced with various pressure and challenges from society and international, it has entered an important period of strategic opportunities and adjustment. As we all know, the logistics distribution center is the most basic and important link in the whole industry chain, be an important part of social logistics, the tobacco logistics play a good role in promoting national economy develops healthy, steady and fast. So we have to optimize the unreasonable business processes in tobacco logistics distribution center, reduce the waste of time and cost of the enterprise, increase its logistics efficiency and improve the quality of customer service, so as to achieve the purpose of enhancing the enterprise’s core competitiveness.So far in academic world, there are many methods to modeling logistics process, Petri Net is widely recognized because of its strict mathematical definition, intuitive graphical representation, abundant description means, and systematic analysis technique. This article will analysis and improve the process in tobacco logistics distribution center based on Petri net theory.This article is based on the field research in a city’s tobacco logistics distribution center, I refer to a large number of theories and documents about tobacco logistics distribution center, business process and Petri net, linking theory with practice, detailing this distribution center’s process, and drawing different types of business flow diagram; then making use of Petrie net theory to modeling, utilizing mathematical methods to analyze model features to make sure the correctness of the model; on the basis of the initial simulation and analysis, study deeply, use correlation theory of order EIQ analysis and chosen strategy, put forward the solution to solve the problem, optimizing the tobacco logistics distribution center’s business process, then simulate and analysis the model after optimize to verify the effectiveness of the proposed optimization measures.
