As the contradiction of doctors and patients in our county being more and more fierce, the relationship between doctors and patients has been one of the most serious social problems in China. Media is a platform to communicate information, doctors and patients’ stories on which could ease the relationship between them, as well as intensify the contradiction of them. Thus, this paper aims at studying on characters of the frame of doctor-patient’s stories, as well as doing research on how media construct reasonable frame of doctor-patient reports and how to build a bridge between doctors and patients through this kind of objective and equal stories.This research paper uses quantitative and qualitative content analysis methods, as well as frame analysis method and computer softwares to analyze data. The samples of this paper are doctor-patient stories from the year 2005 to the year 2014 on two newspaper: Southern Weekly, which is the most famous high quality paper in China, and Qianjiang Evening Newspaper, which has the biggest circulation among newspapers in our country. The researcher found that different newspapers have different frame, which has characterative pros and cons and its own trend, through analyzing frame elements of two types of newspapers’ doctor-patient reports. According to problems and weaknesses of these stories, this paper’s researcher put up some advice in how to construct appropriate, objective and equal frame of doctor-patient reports from macroscopical, middle and microcosmic levels.
