Doctor is a noble occupation. In moral, doctors should be respected and concerned by the society because they rescue and heal people who are wounded or dying. However, they faced a realistic issue that minority doctors have bad self-images, which leads to the hostile relationship between doctors and patients. In recently, the patients’ lower social status tends to become higher while the doctors rate lower socially. In terms of the change of social status, some doctors chose to keep silence. As a communication bridge between doctors and patients, news media has responsibilities to lead a right direction of alleviating tense relationship between doctors and patients. Moreover, it should play an important role to build a harmonious doctor-patient relationship.In order to understand the group of doctors’ image in the sample reports, this article analyses serious patients’ reports starting from the Internet news by using survey research method. The result shows that a majority of doctors have the negative influence to patients. It can be reflected in following three main aspects: neglect of duty, priority of benefit, and a victim of violence in conflict. There has no doubt that doctors’ negative image impact badly to our society and life. Then, this study discusses three reasons why doctors have poor image. Firstly, media mislead patients report. Secondly, there still has the imperfect system that left over by history. Finally,doctors do the improper actions.This study aims at putting forward the guiding strategies for the harmonious doctor-patient relationship and creating a healthy doctors’ image. Particularly, media should learn from others to build a harmonious environment and make the social facilities be used efficiently. Furthermore, we must strengthen the industry self-discipline. From the public perspective, people should have appropriate attitude when facing the doctor-patient problems and then think independent and judge rational. To sum up, it is of great importance to supervise the media to develop a harmonious relationship between doctors and patients.
