Frame Study On Doctor-patient Relationship Reports Of The Xinhua Net(2010-2014)

In recent years, frequent incidents of medical dispute, the doctor-patient conflicts escalated, severely affecting the stable development of society. The news media is not only a mouthpiece between the doctors and the patients, but also can affect the public opinion and guidance, the news media’s affect in promoting the harmonious relationship between the doctors and the patients should not be underestimated.In this study, I choose Xinhua Net as the research media, attempting to study the frame of the doctor-patient relationship reports of Xinhua Net in 2010 to 2014, and analyze its characteristics and drawbacks, at last, I compared the conclusions with existing conclusions.The study found that the number of the doctor-patient relationship reports in the Xinhua Net showing an increasing trend year by year. In terms of substantive categories, the doctor-patient relationship reports of Xinhua Net shows many characteristics, for example, diverse reports theme, stick to principle of objectivity and have correct and scientific public opinion. In terms of form categories, the doctor-patient relationship reports of Xinhua Net also shows many characteristics, for example, diverse reports genre, using images, text and video and have various forms. But the doctor-patient relationship reports of Xinhua Net also have some deficiencies, such as the news sources biased towards the strong side, the government policy reports are almost in one pattern, missing the place for the public to express their opinion and so on. After compared with existing conclusions I find that there are some changes now on doctor-patient relationship reports,for example,reported theme changes from paying attention to the medical disputes reports to focusing on the positive doctor-patient relationship reports, appears medical health knowledge interpretation of reported theme,the sources begins to respect for both sides.
