A Study On Media Frame Of Docter-patient Relationship Reports Of Nanfang Metropolis Daily

As the most dynamic and fundamental relationship in medical practice,the doctor-patient relationship is very important in people's daily life.Harmonious doctor-relationship can not only provide the patient with satisfactory medical experience,but also promote the development of healthcare.In recent years,however,some medical disputes and resulting deadliest crimes are frequently reported in media,which leaves a shadow on the lives of the doctor and patient involved,and intensifies their contradiction that they don't trust even hate each other.As the society pays more and more attention to the doctor-patient relationship,the news media plays an indelible role in exposing the medical disputes to public,and meanwhile guarding audience what to think inevitably through the expression of news reports.Therefore,it is very significant to explore the media frame of doctor-patient relationship reports so as to make suggestions on how media builds the real doctor-patient relationship in a more rational way.The paper took the Southern Metropol Daily as study object,from which 225 reports about doctor-patient relationship were selected as research samples.Firstly,Analytical framework,including subject,origin,direction,form of communication,was built based on theory of media framework,and characteristics of doctor-patient relationship reports were analyzed by content analysis method.Secondly,a case study was conducted on 4 repots about the murder in the first affiliated hospital of Harbin Medical University.There are several findings in the media frame of doctor-patient relationship reports from Southern Metropol Daily as following: about the subject,medical dispute was stressed;about the origin,patient was silent and authority was highlighted;about the direction and form of communication,rational analysis could be seen.Besides,the case study showed similar findings.
