Analysis On Doctor-patient Reports Of China Youth Daily (2001-2016)based On Frame Theory

Based on frame theory,this paper took doctor-patient reports of China Youth Daily from 2001 to 2016 as research object and analyzed the content of 459 news reports.Through the classification and analysis from the perspective of quantity,type,theme,tone and source,the study shown that the reports gave priority to communication style,covered a wide range of topics,preferred the strong sources and negation was the main tone in all reports.According to Zang Guoren's frame theory,the paper summarized the doctor-patient reports of China Youth Daily into four main frameworks,confliction framework,political framework,medical situation framework and advanced typical framework,among which confliction framework had the largest proportion,while advanced typical framework the smallest.The report characteristics have changed upon time dimension,from critical reports to news balance report.It has reduced the proportion of official discourse system and focused on the diversity of subject.Meanwhile,there were still some problems in doctor-patient report,such as preference on some aggressive sources,and serious homogenization in theme of advanced typical report frame.
