In recent years, with the improving of the level of economy and science and technology, the development of IC industry is becoming more and more fast. The memory has become an indispensable and important part of the integrated circuit industry. At present, the integrated semiconductor storage type is multifarious, each has its own characteristics,it plays different roles in the mobile phone, PC, industrial, aerospace and other fields.OTP(One Time Programmable) ROM is one kind of one-time Programmable read-only memory, compared with other memory,it has a lot of particularities. Due to the using of different from ordinary CMOS technology manufacture craft and the special structure of the material, the OTP ROM’s capacity is small, the manufacturing cost is higher, but since it has non-volatile, high reliability, strong radiation resistance, high speed, low power consumption, good qualities, they are widely used in the key store, RFID(radio frequency identification), aerospace and military industry and other fields. Our team has spent a lot of time and effort in recent years, to develop a series of OTP ROM chips based on the anti-fuse unit. Because the anti-fuse unit of the OTP ROM programming voltage is higher than the general storage of the working voltage like 5V or 3.3V, it needs a set of specific programmer to program the OTP ROM. And because the OTP ROM is one-time programmable memory,the requirements of programming system has to be intelligent, accurate and high reliable, etc.The purpose of the thesis is to design and implement a set of intelligent programming system of OTP ROM, including hardware circuit, the software of singlechip processor system and PC software. It’s designed for our group’s different types of the anti-fuse OTP ROM to provide a testing and programming platform that has the functions of basic reading and writing, intelligent programming, intelligent checking. The system also has very good extensibility and compatibility.Due to the limitation of funds and research conditions, the thesis proposes to use ARM processor based on the STM32 as the core of the system’s controller, so it can realize the high cost performance. First of all, the thesis introduces the different anti-fuse OTP ROMs, and analyzes the differences of the structures and the read/write timing between them, thus the design of programming system can have the guide of the universality and applicability. Then the thesis introduces the general hardware architecture of the programming system in detail according to the requirements of practical intelligent, including the design of power supply circuit, the design of intelligent programming voltage circuit module and so on. Next the thesis introduces the design of lower computer’s software in detail, which is based on C language. The hardware can be controlled by the lower computer’s software and do the operations like reading, writing and data checking to the OTP ROM. Finally the thesis briefly introduces the intelligent programming system’s of PC software based on C#, and tests the system’s all kinds of functions, like the test of timing of reading and writing, initialization, intelligent checking and reading/writing of the data. Test results show that the intelligent programming system of OTP ROM designed by the thesis can accurately and efficiently realize the programming and intelligent checking, and other functions of OTP ROM.
