Welding is an important link in most manufacturing sectors, determining the level of a country manufacturing industry. However, at present, the development of chinese welding enterprises is lagging behind, especially in small and medium-sized welding enterprises in which most welding components are still made by manual welding and semi-automatic welding. As to these small and medium enterprises, on the one hand, due to the lack of an effective detection method to monitor key parameters during the welding process, even huge deviation of actual welding voltage and current values from standard values, which seriously affects the quality of welding, is difficult to be found. The welding quality can only rely on welders’ skills and their consciousness and responsibility on operational discipline. On the other hand, through making research for a welding company in Luohe, a serious information gap in welding business is found. In welding enterprise, sales sector,production sector, purchasing sector and financial sector are information- separated,thus lacking a unified information management platform, in particular in the information collection of welding workshop schedule, which makes it impossible for managers to do real-time monitoring and efficient management on production.With the support of information technology, for enterprise information management, traditional management and organization can be transformed. It takes full advantage of current information technology, automation technology,management science and so on to become an optimum method for achieving integrated management, output optimization and efficiency management as well as an important direction for current welding business. Now, an important step of enterprise information management is to establish ERP/MES/PCS integrated systems.Based on welding industry situation, this thesis aims to study the establishment of enterprise information management system of welding and some key issues and apply configuration management software, ERP software and database technology toestablish welding enterprise information management system. The contents of this thesis are shown as follows:(1)Force control configuration software was applied to set up an information line. Real-time data acquisition and analysis was to be exerted on key parameters for the welding process. Alarm should be displayed when abnormal data occurs.Real-time statistical statement should be carried out for actual inventory and output.Operational staff and operational parts should be encoded so as to solve the welding production sources.(2)Superdata management software was put to use to set up welding business model and completed corporate management function so as to achieve effective management for the enterprise through sharing information in real time.(3)By applying database technology, ERP’s database, in the form of relational database, was to be interconnected with real-time database of configuration software,so as to to get through the information access from the production site to plant-level management to enterprise-level management, achieving the information integration of production and management and the management and control integration.
