Research And Implement Of The Software Configuration Management System Based On The CMM

Under the request urgently to be improved of the software development quality and the pressure of market and users, the developing organizations must obtain the quality authentication of ISO9000 and follow CMM(Capability Maturity Model, the maturity model of ability), to improve its own development process. The only way to solve this problem is to strengthen the software process management. Software organizations want to carry out transition from the Initial and confused development process to repeatable, managed and ordering process, and then rising to higher maturity level, so, software process management is the strongest support. And the core of software process management is the effective software configuration management.Regarding software ability maturity model CMM as the idea, combining practice and research work in the software enterprise, according to the needs of software enterprise's development, this thesis builds the software process management system that meets CMM II frame request and has comprehensive platform with whole advantage. Especially, this thesis researches and realizes the important component of this system—the software configuration system. the implement of the configuration system will establish the foundation for the commercialization of the software process management, enabling improving the quality management level of manufacturing enterprise of the software has operable, and realizes the process standardization of software development, really raises the product development efficiency of software enterprises, promotes the quality of the software product.Pointing to the questions that exist in the software configuration management tools, the thesis has researched and realized such a software configuration management, it adopts the large grin size, constructively configuration management model based on component. It Controls the evolution of configuration item with three kinds of library, storing the connection of configuration item with the structure of product tree. It adopts the way in which the system structure of customer/server combines with the browser/server, realizing the function of perfect, flexible structure and edition management, and hoping to use work flow support the whole management activity go on orderly. The development of the system, has laid the foundation for the standardized management of the enterprise software product.
