As the society progress and economy grow, enterprises need to pay attention to their own management, even though they have capital, manpower and technology advantages, in order to deal with the intense market competition day by day. In recent years, development and growth of enterprises have also brought some problems. For most manufacturing enterprises, assets in enterprise feature large volume and variety of types like some automobile component company. There are many problems that manage assets by manual, it brings low work efficiency and high error rate. Meanwhile, the data cannot feedback timely and lost easily will cause security hidden danger existing in the system. To address these problems, we integrate the most advanced technology, bind the assets with RFID label, then establish a set of asset management system based on RFID, in order to effectively manage assets, optimize the distribution of resources and reduce operational costs.Depending on requirements and environmental conditions, system adopt B/S structure, use the SSH combinative framework that is popular currently, and design based on UML. In the database selection, the SQL Server 2014 has been selected. The system deployed on local area network as a part of the enterprise network planning.System roles are divided according to characteristic of enterprise including general manager, financial manager, accounting, cashier, sales manager, salesman, purchasing agent, purchasing manager, department manager, warehouse administrator, manager of assets management, administrator of the company’s assets, administrator for the department’s assets, maintenance staff, department staff, system administrator, IT transports and maintenance personnel.The core functions of system covered the entire lifecycle of assets including assets inquiry, requirement application, contract management, assets register management, assets acceptance management, assets material object management, assets process management, inventory management, assets value management, assets inspection management. Requirement and contract management are mainly used for the function of planning, investigation and purchasing. Assets register management and acceptance management mainly used for the registration and storage after assets are purchased by enterprise. Material object management and process management are mainly used for assets use, return, change, repair and scrap.After the system has online operation for a period time, the system can complete the requested operation successfully and have acquired good effect. Meanwhile, the assets manage efficiency is increased, management processes have been optimized and the level of management has been improved.
