Along with the speedy developing of education,China constantly increases the investment on this industry,especially for the investment of various fixed assets of many colleges.The volume of devices and equipment for teaching and researching,for experiment and for electronic information managing are keep increasing very fast.And then the management of all those fixed assets are getting more and more complicated now a days.The difficulties mainly possess the specialties as the following:Large volume quantities,a wide variety of types with high value,long-term usage cycle,dispersedly application in different location.Many colleges have developed and launched the fixed assets management system and preliminarily realize the e-management on input of fixed assets and inventory e-book establishment via this system.Currently this can solve some fundamental problem in fixed assets management as well.However,the volume of assets of colleges is increasing extremely fast.The exiting e-management system exposes low efficiency and inaccuracy shortage in the daily operation.The purpose of my thesis is to improve the assets management status,enhance the management efficiency and perfect the management method.Combine with the college practical management requirement,on the basis of technology theory,my thesis designs and develops a whole set of feasible assets management system proceeding with the with the software,hardware and front and end system.The system applies the RFID(Radio Frequency Identification Device)to collect the front assets data and then upload the data to the server by wireless network technology and applies the C/S and B/S multiple structure.Furthermore,the system is developed by Java and use Jbuilder as design tools based on the Oracle database server.The chief function includes working out assets labels,inventory checking of assets,statistics and query,asset data synchronization and system management.The test indicates that the system not only satisfies users' requirement,but also relieves their workload.In the same time,the system increases the working efficiency as well.The system facilities the assets' inventory checking and query and can reach the high efficiency of intelligent management of different type of assets.First of all,my thesis analyzes the system project background and introduces the development and trends of RFID technologies then follows with the contents of the thesis.After that,also it is the main part of the thesis;state the RFID technology system from the design to implementation across-the-board in five chapters starting with Chapter 2.Chapter 2 mainly introduces the specialty and basic theory.Chapter 3 mainly analyzes the system and elaborates functional requirement,developing environment and analyzes the data stream.Chapter 4,in accordance of the requirement analysis,introduces the overall design,functional module design and database design of assets management system based on RFID.Chapter 5,this chapter particularly introduces how to launch each modules of the system by various words and flow charts.And then goes to Chapter 6 which introduces the testing part.It introduces the testing environment and testing contents and work out the testing result from interface testing,functional testing and to the performance testing.At the end of my thesis,it summarizes all the introduction and design of the whole system and makes a perspective of the next working step.
