Research And Design Of Assets Management System Based On The Internet Of Things

Assets Management System emphasizes on the assets information processing capabilityand level in the whole life cycle process of assets. It assists the enterprise’s management bymeans of the application information management system in each phase of the life cycle. TheInternet of things focuses on the connection of all articles, and making a ubiquitous networksociety, so as to achieve an intelligent and facilitative society. Assets management system andthe Internet of things have close relationship. The realization of the Internet of things cangreatly promote the assets informationization level of an enterprise, and provide nearly perfectarticles networking environment for assets informationization. It is a revolution in the assetsmanagement.This paper centers on the key-point of asset management, and did research to build anasset management system based on the Internet of Things by analyzing the actual need ofenterprise asset management, and emphasizes on introducing the design and realization of theasset inventory function module. For those places that assets are placed centrally will uselocation reader-writer device to read the asset information conveniently. By using the Internetof Things RFID technology and adding middleware of the Internet of Things in the system’sawareness layer to realize intelligent stock count. But for the places that assets are scattered anddo not fit to place location reader-writer device will use handheld device to read assetinformation. Developing “palm intelligent stock count system” in the handheld device bycombining the Internet of Things embedded intelligent technology to realize intelligent stockcount.The asset inventory function module based on the Internet of Things changes thegathering mode of the stock-taking data and achieves intellectualized stock count. Comparedwith the traditional stock count means, it is much more convenient and reliable, and can savea mass of manpower and material resource for the enterprise. This is the most obviouscharacteristic of the system.
