Radio frequency identification technology (RFID) makes use of radio-frequency signal through space coupling to realize non-contacting information transmission, and to identify via the transmission information. In the object management of fixed assets, RFID can confer a read-write electronic identity card for each asset to lifelong carry about, with which to establish a unique identifier in assets full-life-cycle management, and to carry out the full-life-cycle tracking management to the assets. The electric power enterprises are typical asset-intensive enterprises, and their investments on electric material occupy a big proportion in the cost of production and infrastructure projects. In recent years, with large scale power grid construction and retrofit engineering projects construction, the electric enterprises are facing more and more challenges in asset management and equipment maintenance, such as the low standard assets management and the inaccuracy assets. The construction of fixed assets management system based on RFID technology can help to strengthen the existing process of fixed assets, to clear the responsibility and authority of the fixed asset management in every department, and to achieve institutionalization, standardization, informationization, and refinement in management. What’s more, it is benefit in the integration of enterprise resources, the rational allocation of the overall resources, and improving the level of asset returns. The platform construction can make the related management system solidified in the system, and can conform a management flow, by which to help the assets count operable, and to ensure the effective implementation in asset management. Ultimately achieve the goal of fixed assets full-life-cycle management, and the change of the extensive management to the information management.
