Research On The People’s Daily Commentary(2013-2015)

The rapid development of new media changes the media environment,because new media provides the broad space for the public and have an effect on the public opinion. The rapid development of society and the interest collision,also have an effect on people’s views about news events and values. In the current media environment,people are not short of information,but short of rational,authoritative reviews,which can help people seek the correct values in a complex information environment. News commentary as a mixture of news and essays can meet this need properly,especially for the party newspaper,which play a good role in guiding public opinion in the new media environment. "People’s Daily",as the central party newspaper,take advantage of its resources and creat The People’s Daily Commentary on January 4,2013, which has make a series of news comment,impacting the public opinion.The study object is The People’s Daily Commentary and the overall sample selected is January 4,2013 to the first half of 2015.This study uses the construction weekly sampling method,the random sampling method and other research methods to analyze the editorial pages text. This page study the text structure,the content analysis and the method of public opinion guidance about The People’s Daily Commentary,and find that The People’s Daily Commentary does well in setting agenda,building the public discourse platform and being sensitive to the new media and so on. Summarizing The People’s Daily Commentary can help the party newspapers,which play a import role of guide public opinion,make a contribution to providing quality content in the new media environment.
