Research And Implementation Of Radio Data Acquisition Base On Android Operating System

In the information age, fast interactivity with information is increasingly demanded. With rapid increasing of the mobile phone users, mobile network is becoming more and more important. Network optimization is one of the concerns which matter for mobile internet. Under the circumstances of too many mobile web sites and complicated coverage areas, the data acquisition system which is currently commonly used is not easy to carry and operate. Moreover; it costs much on both facility and human resource. This paper has a new design of the portable mobile data acquisition system, which could diagnose network on the spot and respond with speedy processing.Base on Android system, this paper expounds the design and implementation of a wireless data acquisition device which is portable, multifunctional and intelligent. Android system which is popular is worked as the software running environment and a smartphone is taken as hardware platform. According to the working principle of the system of Android, we have sorted clues about Android’s channels of data transmission from the bottom up and make it possible to gather original data and analysis result (including untreated ones and the encapsulated ones) from modem of mobile. At the application level then, we realized display function by various technologies of RF and signalling. Therefore, this paper innovates a new way on wireless data acquisition.The device of wireless data acquisition in this paper has the following advantage:(1) PortabilityA smart phone is taken as hardware platform. So there’s little doubt on its portability and convenience.(2) AccuracyIt could gather the information within the areas of network coverage on the spot, so it is of higher location accuracy.(3) Wide adaptabilityThe smart phone with android operation system could all be transformed into a measuring instrument.(4) Data communicationThis device could not only support site test, but could also pass the result of data acquisition to server for further study.The new method on wireless data acquisition innovated in this paper breaks spatial limitation of testing environment. This kind of portable device meets the requirement of data acquisition for network optimization and could greatly improve working efficiency for the engineers and operators in network optimization field.
