With the rapid development of computer, communication and networks technology, embedded systems has penetrated into different fields and aspects of daily life.This thesis builds a platform based on embedded Linux operating system, and developed application programs, make the system's serial port a common data interface to receive standard signals from the A/D conversion device, and to realize the electrical signal waveform drawing function.For embedded platforms, Samsung 16-bit/32-bit RISC processor S3C2410 is chosen as the processor. The processor is mainly used to deal with cost-effective, low-power handheld devices.The thesis mainly involves the following elements:1.The Linux embedded platform is established, including the embedded Linux system development environment; boot process migration; Linux kernel porting; file system creation and transfer; the driver transplantation; the Qtopia transplantation of application program interface.2.In an existing microcontroller development board, the AD data acquisition functions and serial communication functions is realized.3.An embedded application is written under Qt/Embedded environment, make the system possible to read data from the serial port, and describe the data in waveform.After testing, it is shown that the operating system runs properly and the code can run correctly. We complete their intended objectives.Finally, some deficiencies and future work that needs to be done are given.
