Design And Relization Of Curriculum Managing System In General High Schools Based On Moodle

With the rapid development of educational informationization in general high school, the importance of establishing teaching resource databases is increasingly manifesting itself. Hence, it is a must for Baochang Senior High School to establish an Internet-based platform in line with its curriculum needs,through which students can have a better avenue for independent study.The application of Moodle to the information-based teaching as well as its functions is discussed in the paper. In order to meet the school’s requirements, new modules were designed based on the previous ones in Moodle as a way to improve and expand functions. Many new functions of the server were made possible, which include the information transmission of webcam video, the reception and feedback from smart mobile terminals, integrated network video information, and the synchronization maintaining of the data information of the heterogeneous system, which are beneficial to the establishment of micro classrooms. In addition, a new Internet-based platform, in accordance with the school’s practical needs was established through the integration of modules by plug-ins and databases.On this platform, interation between teachers and students has been strengthened. On teacher’s part, they can not only make appropriate adjustments in teaching according to the actual situation of students and requirements from teaching outlines, but also upload supplementary exercises and personalized videos based on students feedbacks in time. Students, on their part, can make adjustments in study plans and materials. They will be more efficient in and keen on study through free learning and online consultation with the help of mobile terminals.
