With the development of information technology and the advancement of modern distance education informationization work, the ways and methods of higher education have been promoted in recently years. The education of informatizition has been widely used in foreign universities, but it is in the ascendant in China. How to use advanced multimedia and network technologies to improve our education ways, and to develop new-style teaching modes and various teaching methods satisfied learning of students, is a general problem faced by teachers in universities and colleges of China on the new historical conditiones.Nowadays, the open source educational software began to be applied to higher education teaching system by more and more institute of higher education in the world, especially that famously dedicated to science research. The open source software of Course Management System (CMS) mainly used as a supplement and support for traditional courses teaching. Now the Moodle is the most famous open source CMS based on society constructivist theory in the world, not only which is fit for online courses teaching, but also is a well supplement to traditional courses. In the present work, our task is to constructe a Network-assisted teaching platform based on Moodle and to apply it in teaching of the electron technical curriculums.The incompletely research shows that there are few teachers in universities and colleges of our country, who have adequately realized how to take advantage of established campus network to construct Network-assisted teaching platform and to promote teaching effects. As we known, just in recently two years, the Moodle is accepted by our educational institution, and tried to put to use. In this study, we will devote ourselves to study the construction and applications of Network-assisted teaching platform in universities and colleges, and to obtain much correlated experience and information, furthermore to find the methods and modes of it.There are three points of our arims in this study. The first one is to construct a special Network-assisted teaching platform of Electron technical curriculums which can be used in practical teaching. The second one is to apply the teaching platform in practice. To do that, the important thing is to select some curriculums such as 'Numerical Logic and analysis', 'Natural science generality' etc. and make students to practically apply it and attach themselvies to it. Of course, the application effects must be analyzed in time. In addition, responding to the innovative education idea of the Ministry of Education about enhancing the quality of teaching, reinforcing the ability of innovation and operation of students in universities and colleges, we need to explore the newly feasible teaching ieads and modes.By constructing and applying the present new platform, we can obtain three aspects of conclusions as following:Firstly, the present Network-assisted teaching platform of Electron technical curriculums provides a fine conditon for students to review or preview the contents in class. In addition, It is found that the applying of the teaching platform, which not only promoted the management of teaching, supplied availably the class teaching, reinforced the intercommunion between teacher and students, but also which solved the problems occured in the process of collecting, tidying up and amending schoolwork, and greatly enhanced the experimental teaching, especially for amendment and confirmation of designable experiments.Secondly, there are something need be considered systematically in process of teaching. For teachers, they should learn the operating of platform, and combine effectively the applying of platform with practical class teaching. Also they should noticed that it needs times for students to accept the new teaching platform. By applying the present teaching platform, the design principles and teaching modes of electron technical curriculums based on Moodle in university have been summarized by us.The last, there are still some problems need us to study and resolve further in next practical teaching. One important thing is to study the Moodle concerning technologies, educational theories and study behaviors of student, and to put the present network teaching platform into practice in our electron technical curriculums teaching. By to do that, we hope that the ideal teaching effects can be achieved and the valuable teaching experience can be obtained.
