Automotive mobile terminal devices have become necessary equipment for automobiles. They can not only perform tasks of GPS, but also send real-time information on vehicle location to remote control centers. The project put forward a type of flushbonading automotive mobile terminal device based on ARM11. Through the adoption of ARM11 flushbonading processor, processing capacity of the platform is enhanced. Along with GPS navigation and GPRS wireless modules, it achieves the function of GPS navigation based on Windows CE6.0 platform and real-time locating information. During the project planning, the following tasks are completed: in hardware selection, the high-performance and low-power dissipation ARM11 processor S3C6410, LEA-5S navigation module produced by u-blox, and MC35 i GPRS wireless module produced by Siemens are used in the project. During model selections, the overall stability and anti-interference ability of hardware circuits are primarily considered. In terms of software selections, through the VS2005 development platform, customized development suitable for hardware platforms is conducted based on Windows CE6.0. Moreover, applications are programmed based on JAVA language. Lastly, tests are conducted on hardware circuits. Through installing flushbonading operating systems on hardware platforms, and application program tests are conducted on the overall functions, predetermined designed objectives are attained.
