Communication base station of mobile company has some traits, such as large in quantity, wide in distribution, dispersive in position and complex situation. Most base stations are built in houses owned by citizens, some energy meters in base stations are installed by transmission owner, some by homeowners. energy meters, which are installed in base stations, have different kinds, such as induction meters, electronic meters and IC meters. Because of above-mentioned traits, specially-assigned persons are put in charge of meter reading, however, defects of manual meter reading are obvious, such as poor in real-timeliness, large in workload, costly in expenses and low in efficiency. Hence, designing a kind of monitoring terminal of communication base station electricity utilization based on long-distance meter reading is necessary to reinforce management of electric energy use and ensure communication.Monitoring system of communication base station electricity utilization is designed via applying electronic energy measurement technology, data processing technology, remote wireless data transmission technology, software technology and system integration technology.A kind of monitoring terminal of communication base station electricity utilization,which is based on ATT7022B, MSP430F149 and GPRS module GTM900, is designed in the paper. Different kinds of electrical parameters are measured by three-phase electric energy measurement chip ATT7022B which is designed by fire force company; battery cell volt of base station is measured by adopting relay program; battery cell current of base station is measured by using current sensor; environmental temperature is measured by DS18B20. After above-mentioned parameters are measured, actual values are compared with setting values in order to judge whether alarm events happen. The terminal can communicate with server, uploads real-time data and alarm data, response commands from users who make use of server or mobile phone via GTM900.The paper consists of six parts. The first chapter is project background, which introduces current situation of base station electricity monitoring, then proposes the defects of manual meter reading, analyzes the significance and feasibility of monitoring terminal of the base station electricity utilization based on GPRS and finally presents primary work of the project. The second chapter consists of two parts, the first part mainly introduces the definition of electric parameters and their measurement methods; the second part mainly introduces the features and transport protocols of GPRS. The third chapter primarily presents overall structure and constitution of the system, then introduces hardware design of the monitoring terminal and work principle in detail. The fourth chapter mainly introduces the software flow of the monitoring terminal, then primarily presents design procedure of software, flow charts of the software and communication protocols. Data terminal transmits data by sending AT commands, the server receives the data from the data terminal via Windows Socket communication. The fifth chapter mainly introduces the definition and classification of interference and the consequence which interference brings, then presents anti-jamming technique in design procedure of the system. eventual part of the paper is conclusion which proposes the main work of the paper, the innovation of the monitoring terminal and its influence on management of electric energy use, finally proposes the necessity of video monitoring in order to protect against burglars.
