Automotive intelligence service system is a new field in vehicle management. It contains the electronic technology, the communication technology and database technology. The control server, the intelligent terminal vehicle-mounted and the database are the main components of the automotive intelligence service system.The main goal of this project is to design and realize the intelligent terminal vehicle-mounted based on the micro control unit (MCU). The intelligent terminal is the main perception unit of vehicle intelligence service system, and it is also a communication bridge between "cars" and "service system".The terminal needs to realize comprehensive service function vehicle-mounted such as GPS navigation functions, vehicle state data acquisition function, wireless data transmission function, speech menu, etc.This thesis designs and realizes the vehicle intelligent terminal based on 51 core microcontroller.The main control chip of this terminal is the STC12LE5A60AD.The master control unit constitutes the MCU and its peripheral circuits. GPS (Global Positioning) positioning unit is compose of the REB-3571LP module and its peripheral circuits. Wireless communications unit consists of GPRS (General Packet Radio Service)/GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) module GTM900-B and its peripheral circuits. The man-machine interface unit consists of intelligent voice synthesis chip WT588D and DTMF(Dual Tone Multi Frequency) decoder chip HM9270. Main control unit exchanges information respectively with GPS positioning unit, the wireless communication unit and man-machine interface unit through the serial port by employing time multiplexing technique. Meanwhile, MCU unit is responsible for vehicle-site information gathering and the extract of vehicle status information through multiple signal interfaces. GPS unit is used to get the precise positioning data of the car. Wireless communications unit is responsible for the transmission of monitoring data to the server by GPRS.A detailed circuit and printed circuit board design of the vehicle intelligent terminal has been finished in the thesis.The full system realization of hardware and software implementation is completed, and the test of terminal is performed as well. The results show that:the terminal design is reasonable, stable and reliable.
