Monitoring and controlling systems play a very important role in the industry control field.In many industry areas,especially for those distributed and no—person on site ,data must be collected in order to get the information of situations on spot in time and simple command signals need to be transmitted conditionally.Wire communication networks are set up and maintained usually for traditional monitoring and controlling systems.The investment and maintain cost is very high and used inconveniently.After years of development on communication technology,the traditional monitoring and controlling systems are no longer satisfiable for the requirements, a kind of lower cost , higher communication quality and using more convenient communication network are desirable.The thesis researches a wireless monitoring and controlling system based on GPRS(General Packet Radio Service) and nRF24L01 wireless data transporting chip . This system is constituted with ARM11 MPU and STC89C516RD+ MCU, included GPRS module and nRF24L01 wireless data transporting chip, it can complete far and near distant wireless data transporting and controlling. this system finished the following research and designing:(1) Design of far distant wireless data transporting and wireless controlling with PDA controlled by ARM11. With ARM11 development platform provided by the Felinx company, completed programming the application program of GPRS module, realized far distant wireless data transporting and wireless controlling based on the short news service of GSM network.(2) Design of near distant wireless data transporting and wireless controlling with PDA controlled by ARM11. With ARM11 development platform provided by the Felinx company, completed programming the driver program of SPI interface and related application programs, realized near distant wireless data transporting and wireless controlling from 100 meters to 300 meters without the third party network service platform.(3) Design of data collecting and controlling system controlled by STC89C516RD+ MCU.The controlling system is comprised of TC35I and nRF24L01, optocoupler,Darlington Transistors and Relays,it achived wireless data acquisition and instruction executed, as an example of data collecting,the system assembled a DS18B20 chip to collect the working environment temperature.Furthermore,the system included a LED matrix diplay screen to indicate the controlling system's current working status.(4) Joint debugging and testing of progrms of the data collecting and controlling system.the system finished the programs of wireless data transceiver,controlling application,temperature acquisition, LED matrix display screen and achived good result.
