At the end of 2011, Xilinx introduced the Zynq-7000 All Programmable SOC, innovative processor and programmable logic integrated, highly flexible and powerful configuration capabilities to meet the embedded system for high-performance, low-power requirements as well as multi-core processing power consumption. Designers can either digital logic development through the FPGA, can also be embedded system development.In this paper, the design of a subject comes from laboratory performance MCU core, the Harvard architecture for general-purpose MCU, pipelining technology design and is compatible with MCS-51 instruction set efficiency 36 MIPS. In the testing of MCU core, this paper designed and built based Zynq an authentication platform to the internal MCU core special function registers as the main object, designed for all special function registers real time monitoring of the environment, for the special function registers inside data can be read liberalization save. In addition, a complete single-instruction test work MCU core.Based on the carrying Zynq chip Zedboard development board using the Xilinx Embedded Development Kit EDK provides complete design of the entire design verification platform. In the hardware section, designed to verify the IP core, internal instantiated MCU core, the verification data IP check MCU internal special function registers for processing work. Built based embedded system platform, will be integrated into the IP core verification based embedded system platform, enables communication work between processors and programmable logic. By AXI bus, ARM processor IP core for validation data access control. Software part in the development of IP core SDK environment driver and serial procedures to achieve through MFC programming. The design process of the main functions of the system are verified, including verification IP functional simulation of nuclear tests, reading and writing simulation test bus interface, the underlying hardware system’s internal data communications testing. Build on the work of Zedboard + PC platform, and the function of the whole system for the overall tests to prove the correctness of the verification environment.This paper implements a MCU core test platform, the main innovation is that the platform can detect real-time status MCU core special function register and operate their internal data, in addition, the article also completed the design of a single core MCU instruction tests and a set of benchmark tests.
