Developmental Research On The Food Special Issue Of Comprehensive Newspapers In Guangzhou

Food report is one kind of special report types.The function of message service,informative content,cultural characteristics and changing styles all make it be loved by readers.Especially under the background of consuming society,food special issue,which is an impotent carrier of food news,has unique potential to attract readers’ attention,so it becomes the important battle field to confront new media and deserves recognition and utilization.《 Southern Urban Daily 》 is one of the most influential comprehensive newspapers in South China,and its special issue《Cuisine Weekly》is also the best of all specials,which has a certain typicality and representation.This paper takes it as the research object and provides a comprehensive analysis of its features of content,operation and audience,wanting to glimpse the development law of comprehensive newspapers’ food special issues in Guangzhou,and predict its future trend.This paper consists of six parts.The first chapter introduces the research background,research status,research method and so on.The second chapter summarizes numerous favorable conditions of food special issues’ development in Guangzhou.The third chapter analyzes several aspects of《Cuisine Weekly》such as layout,columns,themes and image-text combination,focusing on all the contents of the year 2014.Chapter four summarizes the overall characteristics of the management mode,moneymaking and development strategy.Chapter five sums up the main features of audience and the primary research approaches are the questionnaire survey and random interviews.Chapter six concludes the shortcomings of food special issues at present,and gives suggestions about their future directions,based on the analysis results of the former three parts.
