Research And Design On Interactive Information System Based IVVR

IVVR(Interactive Voice and Video Response), derived from IVR(Interactive Voice Response), is a newly emerged value-added service of multimedia platform. In the 2G era, IVR provides voice interaction service to and completes data inquiry basing on the needs of the users. Now mobile communications have stepped into the 3G and 4G era, where the users ask for better communication services, which eventually leads to the development of IVVR.Combining audios and videos, IVVR is a brand new value-added wireless service which is able to utilize its video function to provide consumers with various kinds of new media services. Because of the easily accessible and anytime anywhere nature, 3G and 4G mobile phones are gradually becoming one of the major sources of information for people.Together with press, broadcasting, television and internet, 3G/4G mobile phones is now called as the new 5th media.This study aims to design and develop a new interactive video service platform basing on thorough analysis of the systemative structure and port features of IVVR service platform. It would allow users to both receive video services via end devices, and upload user generated content(UGC) to the service platform, by means of which would improve interactivity of, and user loyalty to the platform.This study also reviews the context and the significance of IVVR, discusses the structure and function of IVVR platform, and elaborates on the theorical foundation and core technology of the IVVR system development. Methodology adopted includes software engineering to obtain need inquiry, system modeling. A new platform was designed basing on the IVVR structure, and the five-view approach was applied to examine the design. When finalizing the design,the UML tool was utilized to establish the main function modules, while the main functions of the system were realized by using third-party tools and programming language.IVVR is a form of new media. By taking advantage of this technolgy, interactive information system would be able to provide better communication service, and allows users to change their role from obtaining information to providing information. With the development of mobile communication, the IVVR is bound to have a broader application outlook.
