With the rapid development of computer applications, Computer Aid Design(CAD)is widely used in the field of modern enterprise and engineering. As one of the most popular 3D modeling software, Pro/ENGINEER is content-rich and powerful.However,in practical applications, Pro/E still have many inadequates.Its drawing marking function is weak and it generates 2D drawing which can not meet national standards.Therefore, it is necessary to achieve redevelopment for Pro/E drawing.In this paper,using Pro/E as the the development platform, with its offer of secondery developing tool Pro/TOOLKIT,according to the latest national standard draing, a drawing marking system with good interface has been developed combined with Visual C ++2005.NET programming language and MFC. The design efficiency will be sianificanty improved by using this application of the system.The development of drawing marking system consists of five modules, such as the datum symbol module, the surface structure of the module, geometric tolerances module,welding symbols module and taper/tilt module. Firstly, the relevant literature and the latest national standards for studying and reading, the drawing annotation data has beed sorted when needed; then Pro/E development tool Pro/TOOLKIT has been studied, so the overall system design and the design of every module has been determined; Finally, it describes the various modules of the system dialog interface design and the implementation process of program design, verified by some examples of each module to achieve intelligent marking capabilities.
