| Pro/Engineer with parametric design, feature-based modeling, total correlation, virtual reality and other features occupies a very important position in the3D design. However, design standards and user habits which Pro/Engineer adopts are different from domestic, especially commands in the drawing module is difficult to meet normal needs of designers, so secondary development of Pro/Engineer is necessary.Based on the collaborative project of "the Secondary Development of Creo2.0Drawing Module" between our school and Sungrow, a set of intelligent drawing system is developed with the platform of Visual Studio2010and Pro/TOOLKIT. With the goal that designers can design the required drawing in Creo2.0Drawing rapidly and accurately, this paper discusses the following contents:(1) The secondary development of three-dimensional model. For better secondary development of the drawing module, this section discusses how to customize3D model template, assign parameter, call the drawing template to generate drawings, or open the generated drawing.(2) The secondary development of drawing module. This section revolves around the view scale of1:1and drawing size with the view change. It discusses how to customize the drawing template, add frame, create notes, insert the title bar and the schedule, set the drawing setup option, and modify the drawing name. Then, this section describes the various coordinate systems used by Pro/Engineer and Pro/TOOLKIT, and how to transform coordinates from one to another. It also describes the process of customing drawing symbols and the method of calling drawing symbols which include surface roughness, welding symbol, tolerance of torm and tosition and teference, chamfer, taper, pitch. Finally, it discusses the creating of the center line and batch conversion.The intelligent drawing system can help designers to design the required drawing easily, improve the design efficiency and the standardization of product design, and has high use value. |
