And the result isn’t accord with the GB. When the users label tolerance and dimensional coordination, they mainly depend on experience or referring Handbook of Mechanical Design to label. But for the users who lack of experience that not only is a very great difficulty, but also the referring in Handbook of Mechanical Design is time-consuming and strenuous. At the same time, it is prone to error. The users don’t want to use the software that is complex operation and low efficiency. So the secondary development of Pro/Engineer’s drawing and establishing the intelligent labeling system which accords with GB is very necessary.This system is based on Pro/TOOLKIT to develop Pro/Engineer. And it combines with the Microsoft SQL Server and VC++.Net. The intelligent labeling system is developed by the ways of “.dll”. It related to the designing of menu and MFC.Firstly, it’s essential to study the secondary development of Pro/Engineer and Pro/TOOLKIT. Secondly, it needs to collect and read the newest GB. The database of them will be established. Then the whole project and every module’s project are designed.Finally, it realizes the connection between API and MFC. The interface is developed by the researching of MFC, menu and dialog. The paper develops an intelligent labeling system that contains label tolerance and dimensional coordination module, dimension’s decoration module, chamfer dimension module, arc dimension module, fast center line module and common entity module. The label tolerance and dimensional coordination module can not only realize the labeling form with a variety of tolerance, but also provides automatic query function.
