Research On The Construction And Application Of Jingdezhen Culture Heritage Protection Database

China is one of the oldest countries in the world. It has a long history with lots of cultural heritage. Unfortunately, those cultural heritage is facing unprecedented attention together with unprecedented devastation in the context of rapid urbanization. It is necessary to adopt new methods and technologies to optimize the protection work. And spatial information technology is an essential and effective one.This paper mainly discusses the construction and application of culture heritage protection database. It contains 5 parts. Firstly, the paper analyzes the shortcoming of traditional protection methods under the background of big data, tells the necessity of the application of spatial information technology. Then, it analyses the definition of culture heritage, the basic process of database construction and the particularity and importance of Jingdezhen’s culture heritage. In this way, theoretical and technological foundation can be laid for the database construction. After that, with a deep study of the demand of basic protection work and the demand of Jingdezhen’s systemic protection, the paper build a database framework. And through concept structure design, logic structure design and physical structure design, the database finally come into being. Last but not least, the paper combines theoretical study with practical application. Some examples of the application of culture heritage protection database in microcosmic, middle and macroscopic view is described.The Jingdezhen culture heritage protection database integrates multi-source, multi-scale, multi-dimensional data and provides an open information platform for people to communicate. It plays a positive role in the modernization and informatization of heritage conservation. Based on this database, more work can be done to realize the comprehensive informatization of conservation work.In conclusion, faced with the intense conflict between development and conservation, and in consideration of information technology and overall protection, the way of conservation need a revolution. And, in my opinion, the key to this revolution is the construction of database. Recently, more and more work have been done in this area, but it is still in its infancy and more studies are expected.
