Research And Development On Qiang's Cultural Heritage Database System

Qiang is one of China's most ancient nationalities,which are inextricably tied up with many ethnic groups in China such as Tibetan and Chinese.In the long history of evolution,the Qiang people created abundance of cultural heritages.They are the collective reflection of the Qiang nationality history,from its birth,development to continuation process,which not only are basic to explore the history and culture of the Qiang nationality,but also are indispensable resources to study history and culture of other ethnic groups with in China.This paper,based on previous practices,mainly studies the use of modern digital technology on designing and building of the database of Qiang's cultural heritage.First of all,this article analyzes the Qiang's cultural heritage.Launched digital collection and processing of Qiang's cultural heritage,Combining with the characteristics of the Qiang's cultural heritage and the needs of the database,Designed the Qiang's Cultural Heritage Database,Achieved a MySQL-based Qiang's Cultural Heritage Database.Finally,a Wiki-based encyclopedia platform for the cultural heritage of Qiang was established.The Qiang's Cultural Heritage Database is the first cultural heritage database implemented in the Qiang region,It will provide reference for the spread and protection of cultural heritage in the future,especially for the establishment of cultural heritage databases in ethnic minority areas.
