Based on computer vision and image processing technology as the core, visual identification is used to design a set of intelligent parking lot management system. By means of cameras at the entrance, parking space corridor and over head of car park, video and image are captured to extract the car information, such as:license plate number, license plate color, body color, logo, car model, face recognition of car owners and so on. The information are used to manage the vehicle pass in and out of the gateway and clearing fees, and to guide the customer parking and parking spaces detection, real-time monitoring, electronic patrol, and so on.Through wired、wireless 1.2 g and wireless network, the system connects to camera, digital camera and network camera to collect data for computer control center to perform corresponding processing. System is developed using the C++, Oracle database and OpenCV to achieve data acquisition, exit of control and cost settlement, and related information storage and query.For the pick-up vehicle service, the system not only can display parking information at the entrance and accept query the relative parking information for vehicles on touch screen through entering the license plate number into android mobile phone application. The implementation process is as follows:firstly, the android client customers can access the web server. Secondly, the web server accepts the database to query the vehicle information. Thirdly, the web server sends the query information to the android client for customer parking information of their vehicles. Web server is developed by the JSP, Servlet and Tomcat.The innovation of the design of the system is to take full consideration to the visual identification technology in the application of the management system. By designing a reasonable and practical network structure and interfaces of hardware and software, The management system integrated the existing machine vision technology realize the intelligent and networked. The system can significantly improve the efficiency of management, to provide reference for the development of future intelligent parking lot.
