With the development of transportation and the increasement of vehicle holdings. City parking environment is getting worse. People often waste a lot of time in order to find a parking lot with some free parking space. This condition not only increased personal consumption, but also aggravated the environmental pollution. The thesis designs an intelligent parking lot management system based on DSP. and the DSP is used to calculate the quantity of parking space, upload the information to data service center, then achieve parking online. The DSP is the TMS320DM642 processor made by Texas Instruments, which is used to obtain the information of parking space and vehicle identity. Meanwhile, this thesis designs a software in data center to manage parking lot information. Both of them intercommunicate by TCP/IP protocol.In addition, this thesis also design a Web application to realize parking space online. This service can make people inquire the information of parking space by using web browser.For the acquisition of parking information, this system predicts the quantity of parking space by counting the vehicular access. The vehicle access detection method is different from traditional method including the detection of ground loop, microwave and ultrasonic. The detection method uses DM642 and TVP5150 to capture the parking lot access video information, set visual loop in video specific area.Then, this thesis uses a improve single gauss model to detect moving objects and identifies the vehicle by a variety of vehicle characteristics. At the same time, DM642 drivers UHF RFID reader to identify the vehicle by-communicate UHF electronic tag. In the end, DM642 package the data and upload it to the data service center.For the parking data management in data sevice center, the persistence solution of parking lot data uses SQL Server database management system developed by Microsoft.The parking data management software developed by VS2008 and MFC development environment. The functions of software include some operation of parking data(collection, display, storage, query) and configuration of vehicle detection parameters. The realization of the above functions solves the problem of remote parking lot management. The Web application of parking space developed by Spring MVC framework. This application uses JDBC to connect SQL Server database so that People can obtain parking space information on Internet. Finally achieve the parking space online.Experiments show that this system has a high degree of automation and reduces the cost of parking lot management. In the same time, it can also greatly improve the utilization of parking lot, reduce the waste of resources, create a higher efficiency and solve the problem of parking to a certain extent.
