Automatic Identification Technology Based On Visual Inspection Of Parking Spaces

With the fast development of economy and the constant progress of science and technology, recently, the number of the holders of cars is increasing continuously, the problem of “Parking Difficulty “happened in many cities. So that how to make good use of parking space is becoming the significant problem to the development of the cities. To distinguish the condition of the changing automatically, this article is based on the research of the handling of the picture and the parking space is the object of the researching. To achieve the goal that progressing scheme which can distinguish automatically based the technology of handing the parking space and the condition of parking is through the analysis and research of the parking space.Firstly, to distinguish the condition of the parking more accurately, we make the pretreatment of the picture of parking space. The pretreatment process of the parking picture are including the image gray, image denoising,image binaryzation. Secondly, to detect the picture of the pretreatment of the parking space outline and location,so that we can detect the number of statistics and initialization of the condition. And then detect the change of parking space roughly. The article discusses about three criterions that the basic algorithm of parking space survey. We mentioned a kind of algorithm about detecting roughly on the picture that the parking condition is changed or not. What is more, to distinguish the change of the parking space from roughly to accurately,for that the license tag is on the car, this article has brought about the mature technology on distinguishing the license tag from the capacity traffic to distinguish the parking space of changing. Lastly, designed parking spaces automatic identification system based on the platform VC++6.0 to automatically identify the status of parking spaces to visualize the operation.This article is mainly about the test and verity and the theory research to distinguish the technology automatically of the parking condition in parking space. The research result is significant to handle the problem of detecting the parking condition in parking space.
