| Along with the continuous expansion of higher education enrollment and the deepening of educational reform, the number of students and the amount of student information are multiplied increasing. Traditional student management mode can not meet the current complicated college student information management needs. In order to fit the requirements of modern information technology university management and improve the management level of college management, this paper develop a personnel information management system which is based on the educational and management features of Sichuan Electric Vocational and Technical College.Using C/S structure, this thesis adopt Visual C++ 6.0 and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 database to design the system with ADO data access technology on Windows platform. It includes student,teacher and administrator subsystem, related to student registration, course information, reward and punishment records, results entry,teaching management, performance query statistics and user rights assignment management.Firstly, based on the background and purpose of thesis, the correlative theory of VC++,SQL Server,especially ADO and the operational mechanism of MFC has been introduced at the start of dissertation. And then, the paper does a comprehensive analysis about how to use Visual C++ 6.0 and SQL Server 2000 to develop personnel information management system, such as functional requirement analysis, design ideas, database design, implementation,the test and etc.The result of user test shows that the personnel information management system designed in this dissertation achieves the design requests which can been conveniently operated by user to achieve human-computer interaction.
