The Design And Imlementation Of Graduate Employment Information Management System For Guangxi University Of Finance And Economics

Ever since 1999, student number in China’s institutions of higher education has been rising dramatically. This poses a negative impact on the prospect of graduates finding a job on the job market. Universities and colleges are hard pressed with the urgent question: What can they do so that their graduates can secure a job on the highly competitive job market? Failure to address the issue may cause difficulty in attracting potential high school graduates. Over the recent years, many senior high school graduates have chosen to quit Gaokao(National College Entrance Examinations) owing to the fact that it is difficult for college graduates to find a job. What is more appalling is that some junior high school students choose to abandon the opportunity to study in senior high school because of the dismal future of college graduates. It can be seen then whether college graduates can be landed a job or not affects not only the development and expansion of universities, but also our education in general. With the rapid development of internet, technology in network and database has penetrated into all sectors of our society. This system can improve the information management of college graduates, and more importantly analyze and predict trend in employment opportunities for future college graduates by collection and analysis of employment information of past college graduates. The trend discovered will in turn shed light on social needs for different talents and play an important role in the curriculum reform and introduction of new disciplines.The graduates employment information management system has three functions. Firstly it will change the traditional archives management of college graduates employment information. The system developed in the paper, on the other hand, presents a good platform to manage graduates employment information by adopting computer networking and database technology. Secondly it is also a good platform for the communication between the college graduates and employers. Thirdly, by using data mining, information about graduates employment can be analyzed and process so that useful potential information can be found, which in turn helps college graduates find a job. Based on user needs and system design scheme, the graduates employment information management system adopts B/S structure. The daemonic data center is established by using SQL Server 2005 data system. The website design adopts ASP.NET and system development platform Visual Studio 2008.The system from the user’s point of view, the main function of the system into several functional modules: the public function module; the administrator module; the employing unit module and graduates function module.This paper mainly completes the following work:1, the university employment information management status of an in-depth research, disease study and analysis of the characteristics of other employment management system.2, according to the specific situation of Guangxi money employment management has carried on the system analysis, design and development.The results indicate that the information management system does perform the above-mentioned functions. It turns out to be significant in the management of the graduates information and the analysis and forecast of graduate employment.
