Applied Research On Data Mining In Educational Management And Student Employment

Data mining technology in the past ten years rapid development, has gone deep into all aspects of life and production, and play an important role.As the university continued to expand the scale of the school, more and more colleges and universities have introduced a variety of management information systems, such as educational management system, employment management system, logistics management systems and laboratory systems. The management systems store large amounts of data, but is mainly used for storage, query and other simple functions, but not in-depth research, discover hidden information.This paper uses two classical data mining techniques: association rules and decision trees. Using Apriori algorithm analyses student academic performance, work on academic research in the curriculum. Using C4.5 Decision tree algorithm analyses the employment information for college students. In addition, through the use of SQL sever 2005 in association rules mining and decision tree algorithm to aid the process of analysis.By mining analysis, the success of the model curriculum provides for future analysis, to improve the teaching quality, improve the students to develop models and improve the employment guidance have played an important role. Because of academic and employment data and factors related to so many, it is difficult to conduct a comprehensive analysis; I will follow-up to more in-depth information mining.
