In recent years, ow ing to the ever-increasing e mphasis on the safety of coa l mine production, our country requires the coal mine enterprises to strengthen the information construction and improve the safety production. With the system, it not only eliminates the blind area when the ground controller is monitoring the underground workers, but also improves the effective monitor and dis patch of underground workers. Moreover, it enhances the underground personnel’s rapid response ability when the mine disaster occurs. Therefore, the establis hment of a relia ble and practical personnel positioning system is significant for the improvement of safe production management.Although the existing personne l pos itioning syste m is able to use, there are many proble ms as well. Without a map, it is not able to figure out the personne l distribution accurately and intuitive ly. The C / S architected- system design increases the complexity in usage because it entails the customers to insta ll an client at first. In addition, the existing personnel positioning system cannot track the underground personnel’s activities accurately, and the unreasonable interface gives rise to the complicated operation and other issues. Therefore, it is proposed to introduce the GIS module, which combines with the current excellent computer technology and database technology, in order to build a coal mine personne l pos itioning system. The ma jor modules for the system inc lude data acquis ition, real-time monitoring, data query, statistica l analys is block, attendance management, system settings, and so on. In the aspect of imple menting technology, it sha ll follow the steps, inc luding defining the proble ms, studying the ir feas ibility, ana lyzing the requirements, designing in general, designing the details, and coding. The system is de velope d based on Net technology and net Framework 3.5 platform. With the C / S mode adopted, the data acquis ition module is able to send the command and acquire the data ma inly through the operation of the serial port. The web service module is architecture w ith the MVC des ign pattern framework and B / S mode, w ith EXTJ S-technology-adopted to dis play interface, and MS SQ L 2005 database-adopted for the background. The deve lopment environment is using VS 2008, and the WEB server is using IIS6.0.Upon the completion of building the Coa l mine personne l pos itioning syste m, it will have the follow ing characteristics. Firstly, the system can be used by any computer with Internet access, which saving the trouble of pre- insta lling c lient. Secondly, the adding of map module enables the real-time monitoring to become more convenie nt, because it’s easy to check the personnel distribution, working conditions, and alarm message so as to provide early warnings. Thirdly, it enables the function of accuratelytracking the personne l activities underground, whic h is he lpful for monitoring the behavior of underground personne l. Fina lly, With the excelle nt interface, reasonable layout a nd optimized processes, the system provides better user experience, and improve the effectiveness of monitoring and dispatching the underground workers...
