In the wireless sensor network architecture, network layer routing technology isreally relevant. As the wireless sensor network routing protocol has the application ofcorrelation, for different applications require different routing protocols. In theunderground coal mine personnel positioning wireless sensor network under specialenvironment, demand routing has topology management convenient, energy utilizationefficiency, reliable data transmission and other functions. Therefore, routing technologyof wireless sensor network application becomes the current research focus.At present, the research of wireless sensor network routing protocol for Coal MinePersonnel Positioning is one of the hot technologies in coal safety management, androuting protocol plays a crucial role in wireless sensor network. Therefore, the paperaims at coal mine personnel positioning wireless sensor network routing protocol toresearch, firstly analyzed the coal mine wireless sensor network topology under specialenvironment, then on the wireless sensor networks, all kinds of representative routingprotocols are analyzed and researched, compared and summarized the characteristics ofthese algorithms and application environment. Finally combined with the currentresearch situation in this area, put forward a kind of suitable for application inunderground personnel positioning in wireless sensor network based on routing tablelocation routing protocol GRPBRT (Geographic Routing Based on routing Table).The GRPBRT protocol is presented according to network gradient and positioninformation to construct a routing table, and based on routing table to communicate dataefficiently. The algorithm consists of three stages: the gradient network constructionphase, the routing table establishment phase, data communications and routingmaintenance phase. This paper first analyzes the three stages of implementation process,and then based on the wireless sensor network routing protocol performance indicatorsto evaluate its performance, simulation experiment is made on the performance testanalysis. The simulation results show that the GRPBRT protocol has better scalability,robustness and lower data transmission delay, will better adapt to coal mine personnelpositioning wireless sensor network applications.
