With the growing competition in telecom market, telecom network resource has become one of most important resource. And as key measure of ensuring network resource stable and safe, network management becomes more and more important. In the promotion of market competition, the three major telecom operators have actively pushed the establishment of comprehensive network management system and realized corresponding functions such as network resource management, network performance management, network fault management and so on. However, traditional network management system exists obvious problems in a certain extent including lacking of unified deployment and weak fault management. Usually maintenance department is in charge of alarm monitoring, resource management in charge of resource management, network scheduling department consider scheduling and network optimization, and all departments establish the management system respectively according to their own needs, unable to achieve unified management of the whole network. At the same time, the existing system is lack of workflow management, integrated network management system benefit has not been brought into full play, pushing the entire network of comprehensive statistical analysis and fault management has become an important direction of development.Based on the present situation of integrated network management system, the thesis attempts to establish network fault work order management system and realizing the whole process management from fault data acquisition, fault monitoring to fault job distribution. Firstly, related technologies about fault work order management system are analyzed including network management technology and system, SNMP protocol, system architecture. Then, in terms of network fault management person, system functional requirements and non-functional requirements are proposed. The system is designed based on hybrid B/S architecture, C/S architecture realizing the complementary advantages of both B/S architecture and C/S architecture. This thesis focuses on fault data acquisition, fault warning and fault order distribution. And fault data acquisition introduces SNMP trap mechanism based on interface communication module. Fault order distribution introduces workflow technology, realizing the unity of matching staff responsibilities and procedures. The network fault work order management system is helpful to improve network fault warning and processing ability providing references for the establishment and application of integrated network management system.
