| A university's quality and quantity of scientific research projects and results represents its comprehensive strength. So, how to manage these projects and results is important to universities. Scientific research management system is becoming the core of university's managements systems.Work flow technology is a new technology which is growing with computer and IT recent years. Researching and importing this technology could improve and optimize business process of scientific research management, and could improve work efficiency of management. It is a better way to realize the processes control of management, to make these processes more flexible.This article based on the scientific research management system of Beijing Jiaotong University. Deeply studied work flow technology, developed a customized work flow engine. Designed a scientific research management system based on the specific conditions and requirements of users, and realized it. Modeling those business processes of management via UML, and realized them in the customized work flow engine. Link to other management systems, designed and realized a serial of data interfaces.Research work of this article, not only provide some theory and basic technology to establish some scientific research management processes in the work flow engine of this system, but also laid certain foundation to further research. After deployed this system, practice has shown that it running stable and results are good. It simplified our teachers'daily work, improved our scientific research managers'work efficiency, and provided accurate statistics for leaders to make some decisions. |
