Vegetables are necessities in our daily life, their quality and safety issues related to the beneficial of the people’s livelihood. At present there are some problems about vegetables’quality and safety in China, such as lack of product identification, quality information asymmetry, etc. Using the modern information technology to establish the traceability system of vegetables is an effective method to guarantee their quality and safety. But the current vegetable traceability systems that have been put into operation only provide consumers with little information, usually limited to the names, origin, manufacturers and other information of vegetables. What’s more, they have ignored the information about the vegetables’production and processing with information acquisition cost greatly. And that have affected the actual effect of traceability system greatly.The vegetable traceability system introduced in this paper aims at the existing problems of traceability systems above, such as single traceability information, high cost of information acquisition, designs a vegetable traceability system with more complete traceability information and lower cost of information acquisition. The system uses the two-dimensional code as its information carrier, marks the entity object related to vegetables’ cultivation, production and processing. The production staff can carry out the operation information acquisition by mobile terminal; consumers can scan vegetable products through the two-dimensional code mobile terminal, and send query requests to the system, then the system returns detailed traceability information of the product. What’s more, the system has realized the anti-fake function of vegetable products through the design of inner code and outer code.This paper takes the integration management of vegetable production enterprises as the object, which have independent vegetable planting base, and can independently complete the production and processing of vegetable products. First, we carry on the demand analysis according to the actual situation of vegetable production enterprises, and make the use case analysis of enterprise management personnel, production personnel and consumers. Then on the basis of demand analysis, we carried out the outline design of vegetable traceability system, this system consists of server management system and mobile terminal information acquisition system, and we have made the software architecture design and function structure design of it. The server management system is developed based on the SSH frame, it mainly includes the basic information management module, traceability information produce and query module, two-dimensional code generation module, etc. The mobile terminal information acquisition system is developed based on the Android platform; it mainly includes the operation option display module, operation information acquisition module, two-dimensional code scanning module, etc. This paper carried out the detailed design and implementation of the vegetable traceability system. Aimed at the characteristic of easy to be copied of the two-dimensional code, this paper presents the realization of product anti-counterfeiting and traceability through the inner code and outer code. The system designed in this paper applies the way of define the type of operation by user themselves, which has enhanced the extensible of the vegetable traceability system.
