TV has become the indispensable part of the television audience to access to information, entertainment relaxation and the world.With the diversification form of TV program and the booming TV program market, TV quiz show as an important part of television programs has become an important choice to audience. This type of program to spread knowledge, develop the audience view as its mission, with a positive attitude to transfer positive energy. Therefore, it has realistic meaning to the research of TV quiz show.TV quiz show has a shorter development history in our country than TV entertainment program, the form is also from the early single rigid quiz show to diversified programs with a variety of elements nowadays. TV quiz show has experienced different stages and taken place in great changes. The author separately analyzed on three aspects:the content, the program settings and innovation. And the author also analyzed the causes why it can be so favored by the audience in the fierce competition of TV program market.Third, from the perspective of communication, the author analyzed on reasons of form changes on Chinese TV quiz shows from five angles, including propagation environment, transmission mechanism, communicators, the mode of transmission with media and audience aesthetic psychology. It points out that in the development history of our society, from the form of simple quiz show to< Who’s still standing>as a representative of TV quiz show nowadays, the changes are based on the five above pointed changes.Finally, this paper points out that the problems of the development on TV quiz show and suggestions to solve. It is pointed out in this paper, the surface of TV quiz show market seems bright, but there are a lot of problems in essence. For example, the serious homogenization, the overmuch entertainment, the eye-catching of gaming traces and the designed players are the obstacles to the constraint development of TV quiz show.
